Despite his young age (20), Erling Haaland is one of the most dangerous strikers in the world. He already has 33 goals in 31 games for Borussia Dortmund this season. The Norwegian burst onto the scene with RB (Red Bull) Salzburg in 2019, earning him a £18m move to the German side. The young striker has a new estimated worth of £100m. Luckily for United, our manager has a good relationship with the player from his time with Molde, which could help endorse the move. Could we see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s old friend playing for the red side of Manchester ?

The solid centre half from Villarreal CF has been attracting a lot of interest in the transfer market. He has been a stand out player for the Spanish side this season, making 32 appearances. The 6’2″ Spaniard is also on the right side of 20 (24), making him a suitable partner to Harry Maguire. The estimated price tag for Torres is reported to stand at £50m. A relatively affordable move for United.
The tenacious midfielder is quickly becoming one of the most wanted players in England. Despite his young age (22), Rice has played every minute for West Ham in the Premier League this season. He has been in excellent form and he has been pivotal for West Ham’s success this season. While he is usually found in midfield, Rice can also play in the centre back role. This versatility only makes him more appealing for United. United could end up paying around £60m for the Englishman and the influence from Jesse Lingard (on loan at West Ham) could persuade him to join the reds.
The Portuguese left back from Sporting CP has been on United’s radar since December (2020). Due to his age (18), there’s no doubt that he is one for the future. Despite being 18, Mendes has been constantly impressive for Sporting CP and he has already played 26 games this season. The potential for this player is off the charts. If United were to purchase Mendes, the deal would be expensive. The Portuguese side have already rejected a £25m bid from Liverpool in January and they have told United’s officials that they will not accept anything less than £60m.
It’s no secret that United have attempted to acquire the Englishman in the past. Aston Villa’s captain has been exceptional this season and he was key to Villa’s survival last season. His form has been compared to the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Bruno Fernandes this season, as he has 18 goal contributions for Villa. The midfielder has also proved that he can play on both of the wings and play well while doing so. Grealish (25) could cost United around £60m but he would be a very welcome addition which United fans would welcome with open arms.
