Manchester United has announced the signing of Martha Thomas on a deal until the end of the 2022/2023 season, with the option of a further year.
I’m excited to be joining Manchester United, I’ve been impressed with the success the club has had over the last few years and that was a real drive for me to come here. I want to be enjoying my football again and I’m looking forward to challenging myself in this environment and being part of an attacking team where I can express myself. My focus right now is on settling in and putting in the hard work at training, but I can’t wait for the season to start and to see all the fans back in the stadium.Martha Thomas
The former West Ham striker, who is also a Scotland international, was born in England but moved to Weston, Florida at the age of six.
She then played Weston FC and for Charlotte 49ers, and is the school’s all time leading goal scorer.
Her signing would be a great addition to the United forward line and would add more depth up top.
