As reported by the MEN, Pogba is finally enjoying his time at Manchester United. He has publicly gone on to say that he feels more like in a winning team now. Just a few months back our own fanbase wanted him out. He was considered to be the source of the negative atmosphere emanating from the squad and was even blamed for the poor results

After a major training ground bust up with then manager Jose Mourinho, questions were raised on his professionalism.

Well, the restart has been as good as it could have been for Manchester United, and a big part of it is down to the form of Paul Pogba. Bruno’s presence has allowed Pogba to escape the media spotlight for and has enabled him to operate from a deep-lying position in midfield. His exquisite passing abilities has been on show since football returned. The Athletic have reported that Pogba staying at United and signing a new deal is “inevitable”. It would come as a huge boost to this resurgent Manchester United squad who are aiming to end this season on a high.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did well to handle the Pogba controversy last season and has allowed him to operate in a more free-flowing role.

He has been named a “virus” by many pundits and even fans, and his on field antics along with the off field activities of his agent didn’t help his cause either. He seems to have finally found stability in his game and looks settled in this squad. He has a great bond with the gaffer who had coached him in his academy days as well. Pogba is finally looking more committed and is putting in more effort than ever.

Pogba might just have his best years ahead of him, and him returning to form is great news for Manchester United. But whatever happens to his career from now on, he doesn’t seem like a bad influence to the team anymore.
