Manchester United have recently shown an Interest in Slavia Prague forward Abdallah Sima. The 19 year old has had a good season in front of goal scoring 19 goals in all competitions. Sima’s struck 11 times in the league, 4 times in the CFL for the Slavia Prague B Team and 4 times in the Europa League. His last goal in the Europa League came against Leicester City who Slavia Prague beat to progress to the last 16.
Although Sima can play as a centre forward he’s played most of this season on the right wing. Along with his 19 goals he also has 8 assists to his name. There’s no doubt about Sima’s talent and its no surprise a club like Manchester United are monitoring him. United have a reputation for acquiring young upcoming talent and Sima could well be the next one on the list.
Sima is yet to feature for the Senegalese national team but you’d imagine a call up wouldn’t be that far away. His idol is fellow countryman Sadio Mane who has played over 200 games in the Premier League and has over 70 caps for his country. If Sima can follow in Mane’s footsteps he will have a fine career.
Should Sima make the move to Old Trafford he would certainly give healthy competition to the likes of Dan James and Mason Greenwood. And with Cavani seemingly off in the summer he may find himself playing the odd game in the centre forward role. Sima’s athleticism and searing pace would serve him well in the Premier League, also his positioning and reading of the game shouldn’t be underestimated. Various reports suggest that the Slavia Prague man could be available for as little as £10 million.
